Wow – a lot has happened since my last post, and it’s only been two weeks. In short, some of the reality of COVID-19 has hit home. My home has a “shelter-in-place” order and my kids are now home schooling. My “day job” has gotten busier as we adapt to both working from home and keeping our services fully operational.
I’d planned to make this post about the technical side of starting the podcast, but this reality has diverted my attention a little. Further, a few interviews I’d planned have been postponed or cancelled. All this means that my launch is going to be some number of weeks later than I’d originally planned.
I am incredibly privileged to be able to work from home at a secure company, while so many have had their lives 100% upended. And while I think we’re still very much in the early stages of this terrible journey, I’m optimistic that I’ll still be able to launch this year.
For now, I’m not committing to a date, but I still have one very much in mind. I’ve instead set a “date for a date” – April 26. I’m hopeful that by then we’ll see how the virus is playing out, how home life is playing out, and be able to assess things more clearly.
Please stay tuned. And please subscribe to my mail list for updates along the way.
